Apple's Hidden Sweatshops

Apple is one of the most valuable technology company, yet it has been accused for forcing its staff work long overtime hours and getting paid nearly one dollar and twelve cents. Some reports say that Apple has hired underage workers in their factories in China and has forced its workers to work standing for nearly twenty four hours at a time. An ABC 7 has found out that their has been many suicides in these Apple factories due to the overwhelming labor. Although these workers due have mask and gloves used for protection, some workers believe that their work has been so relentless that many times they do not even have time to think on other things. In terms of sanitation, these factories have been mostly stable. However, we must realize that Apple is a very wealthy industry. Hence, there should be no reason as to why Apple cannot afford to allow more convenient working conditions as well as pay their people a reasonable price. Although it is easy for many to say that one should stop buying these Apple products, in reality these products have slowly spread throughout many classes and a range of citizens. During these times when many people have become ecocentric and only value their own happiness, in order to actually change these horrors the president has to take initiative and deter the global economy from using these third world countries. Everyone can begin by protesting and spreading awareness.
