The problem with doing Chinese tours (even for 1 day like we did) is they drop you off at towns created just for the tourists. The Chinese people love it, the Westerners hate it. Hence after 30 minutes of waiting around, we were really not amused.

It's really hard to tell in China whether it is mist, smog or a combination of both covering everything. Either way it does seem to cover vast areas of the country.
