Longchuan County

Longchuan is one of the less known tourist destination in Dehong Perfecture. The small county live mostly Dai, Achang and Jingpo. Came here for the Achang "Hui-jie" festival.
Zhangfeng is the new capital of Longchuan county with a huge market place in the center of town, but...not much minority costume scene could be seen beside the typical Dai's dress. Zhangfeng town wasn't big and easy to get around, an huge square at the southern side of town which held the yearly Jingpo festival during Chinese new year. Beside the HinayānaBuddhism there also a Han Buddhism temple in town with an English name..."Chinese Temple"!
Longba is another market town not far from Zhangfeng, the same minority scene without much interest. went further up north through the old capital Chengzi to Qingping where you could see a little bit more costum
