Things got a bit better...

So yesterday I started the Chinese classes. A little bit boring but nice. I have to switch somehow to some slower way of studying as the Chinese teachers seem to take things very easy while the Polish teachers make you handle more than you actually can.
Most of the students are Japanese and Korean. But lucklily there are also Europeans and Americans. Some of them look like New Age or Buddhism followers but well... it's China after all.
The classrooms of course fulfill Chinese standards... three people sitting at the table that is supposed to be for two. Not to mention the moldy ceilings 😊

Yesterday me and a new friend of mine also signed up the contract to rent an apartment. It's a pretty tough thing to do here in China... Papers, photos, copies of passports, registration at the police... lots of (unnecessary) bureaucracy.
Today we could actually move in. And that's to my mom: If you still yell at dad that our basement is messy and dirty, I'm telling you- It is NOT. Yeah... The apartment is nice itself but I swear I've never seen this much dirt in my life. It is even hard to imagine that someone could actually live there! But again... it's China.
So yes... after hours of cleaning, throwing lots of things away and eventually moving our stuff in, I have to admit it's not that bad. What is more the location is really good. Right in front of the Green Lake Park 😊

Tomorrow though I need to apply for the resident permit. And this is something I don't even want to think about...

Wczoraj zaczely sie zajecia. Nieco nudne, ale przyjemne. Musze sie jednak w pewien sposob przestawic na wolniejszy tryb nauki, jako ze tutejsi wykladowcy wydaja sie spokojnie podchodzic do pracy kiedy polscy wykladowcy wymagaja czasem wiecej niz moga tak naprawde od studentow otrzymac.
Wiekszosc studentow to Japonczycy i Koreanczycy. Ale na szczescie sa rowniez Europejczycy i Amerykanie. Niektorzy z nich wygladaja co prawda jak wyznawcy New Age albo buddyzmu, ale coz... to w koncu Chiny.
Sale, w ktorych prowadzone sa zajecie oczywiscie spelniaja standardy chinskie. Trzy osoby w lawce dla dwoch. Nie wspominajac zaplesnialych sufitow 😊

Wczoraj rowniez ja i moja nowa znajoma podpisalysmy umowe o wynajem mieszkania. Nie jest to tu wcale takie proste. Papiery, zdjecia, kopie paszportow, rejestracja na policji... duzo (niepotrzebnej) biurokracji.
Dzis moglysmy sie w koncu wprowadzic. I to wiadomosc do mojej mamy: Jesli wciaz uwazasz, ze nasza piwnica jest brudna i zabalaganiona, mowie Ci- wcale tak nie jest. O tak... Mieszkanie samo w sobie jest w porzadku, ale przysiegam, ze tyle brudu jeszcze w zyciu nie widzialam. Nawet trudno jest uwierzyc, ze ktos tam w ogole mieszkal. No ale jak juz wspomnialam... to w koncu Chiny.
Po godzinach sprzatania wiec, wyrzucania przeroznych rzeczy i ostatecznym wniesieniu swoich, musze przyznac, ze nie jest tak zle. Co wiecej polozenie jest naprawde dobre. Dokladnie na wprost parku z zielonym jeziorem 😊

Jutro jednak musze zlozyc aplikacje o karte stalego pobytu. I nawet nie chce o tym myslec...
