Soft Sleeper Train

The 18 hour train ride from Guilin to Kunming called for a soft sleeper. It wasn't so bad except for the blaring music overhead that went off at 10 p.m. and came back on at 7 a.m. Other than that it was quite comfy.

American Breakfast in Dali

This was the perfect breakfast: eggs, toast, jam, hashbrowns, bacon, Rice Krispies cereal, coffee, and watermelon juice.

Needed energy?

After 5 days of hiking and 8 hours on a buses to Dali, I practically licked that plate clean!

Happy Panda

Who needs the Giant Panda Research Center when there was a happy panda handing out hugs in Dali!
