Muslim area
So after a 13hr!!!! train ride we arrived in Xian and booked into our hotel. Xian is so cool its the old capital of china (i think) and had the cool wall that use to run all aroud it but the city has expanded so much that its also outside of the walls. so once we had checked in our tour leader showed us around alittle and we decided to go to the muslim area and look around. it was a cool part of the town and we looked around for a while and met a really nice local girl who was looking after her uncles shop. we spoke to her for like an hour and then looked around some more. we went to pizza hut for tea, yeah i know how chinese can you get, but yeah for some reason we went there. after tea we went back to the muslim area and went back to meet our friend we made earlier, yes thats right ive forgotten her name. Her uncle was there this time and he was so funny and we think gay, he seemed to really like oscar haha. anyway he made us some stamps of our names

Bell tower (i think)
in both english and chinese, my name can also translate to cool rice, go me. we were there for ages just talking to them while they made our stamps. i was kinda grumpy coz i was tired and didn't sleep to well on the train so we went back to the hotel and i went to bed.
so the next day we went to the terracotta warriors, it was so looking forwards to this. when we fist got there we had to go into this round room thats had a movie running on all the walls about the making of the warriors, this pissed me off coz it felt like we were at a theme park. but then we went into the warriors and it was fantastic i was taking my time looking at it all and then my team leader came to find me coz i was taking to long in the first room, which is the main room. the second room was alot smaller and didn't have much in it. and the third room had statues of all the types of warriors. after the warriors we had free time for the rest of the day. i wanted to

sleep coz im so lazy but my room mate wanted to go bike riding around the city wall. so i went coz i figured i was there and i should go so stuff instead of sleeping. so we went to the wall and hired bikes. me and rachel got a tandom bike which was had to get started but we managed. it was so cool and one of the funest thing we did on our tour in our free time. afterwards we went out for tea and had some pig foot. it was ok i guess, kinda fatty. after tea we went out for drinks which was fun. Xian is a cool place i enjoyed it more than Beijing.
the next morning we had free time so we went to the big goose pagoda. it was a cool temple place and the founding place of budism in china. we (me and oscar) climbed the pagoda and there wasn't that much inside but still a cool place and then we walked around the gardens alittle and then had to go back and get ready for our next train ride.
the train was 18 hours
