Jokhang temple Lhasa
one of the holiest and sacred places in Tibet. It is home to the indigenous Tibetan people, and to some other ethnic groups such as Monpas and Lhobas. Tibet is the highest region on earth, with an average elevation of 4,900 metres (16,000 ft). It is sometimes referred to as the roof of the world.
Lhasa, a city representing Tibet but apparently under constant state of emergency regarding the present military troops.
U have to pay attention while taking pictures,it's strictly forbidden taking pictures of them.
guides please u to follow the existing rules because it can cost there existens.
People are nice, inviting sometimes so i got a glimpse of these culture which is so different to the chinese one that they can't fit together beside the fact tibetan don't like the chinese.
"Hey there are snakes" is the comment very often.
One obvious fact that the chinese occupy the country step by step, steeling the resources, selling them for a high price, making profit on the back of tibet.
Life in tibet is definitly not the easiest and it's gonna be hard job to keep the traditional tibetan culture very high and fight against the chinese influence of migrated chinese.
So this country is awesome, interesting and more then
worse a trip even you're not allowed to travel on your own.
