Due to a small mix up Mum didn't ride on the Maglev to the airport, but I took one back to town. A Maglev train is not just a fast train. It uses magnetic levitation and has no wheels. The journey time for 25 km is 8 minutes. The ride is smooth. After the journey I visited the maglev museum which has models and explains pipe about the history of Maglev trains and how they work. At the moment there are only two commercial maglev lines, one in Japan and the Shanghai line. after my move to an apartment very close to People's Square I had supper at a Chinese fast food restaurant - very close to McDonald's. Chinese fast food is beef on the bone with rice and fried cabbage - probably healthier than McDonalds.
