Shanghai, Yangshou, Chaolong

Hello

I have just arrived in the rice terraces of Longzhou and it is beautiful! The rices fields are cut directly into the hills!

Before i got here we were in Shanghai for a couple of nights! I liked it because there is no specific things to do so we could just relax! We went on a boat trip along the river! Next Yangshou!

Yangshou is amazing! Here is where our trip leader Peter lives so it wa nice to see how he life works! This place is spectacular! Its a small but busy village hidden within the hills! Alot of tourists have moved here or come here to climb or hike!
While here we just took in the sights of the bamboo boat rides!
Next we went to a place called Caolong which is 20minutes from Yangshou. This place was great, up in the hills and a bit more reclusive!
Here i took cooking and Tai Chi lessons. So i am now officially relaxed and can cook a decent chinese meal. Mum and Dad i will cook you both something for dinner when im back!!!!
We also went on a bike ride around the hills and had dinner in a local farmers house which was great!
I have to be honest these two places have been my favourite in China and i am planning on coming here again to do some climbing etc!

Like i said im in Longzhou and il let you know what i do!
