World Class Italian in Weihai

Yes, it's true. We finally made it to the "Italian Bistro." We have know it was there for some time, but never ventured in, fearing it was just another ketchup and spaghetti place. Well, I'm here to tell you it's NOT another ketchup and pasta place. We are talking world class Italian cuisine and NO I'm not just saying that because I've been deprived of a decent Western style meal in so, so long. This place rocks! Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.

The address is Yuan Zhong Yuan 2-1, Yu Gang Road,Huan Cui district, Weihai, China. The phone number is 0631-5333588. Bus 31 goes right past it and it is on the street just before Da Fu Yuan. Turn when you see the International Hotel on the corner.

Oh yeah, they deliver and they have a lunch set menu for 58 yuan. You get an appetizer, soup, pasta or risotto, dessert and beverage. Always fresh and served in a timely manner. Also, the decor is like a tasteful, elegant, old world style European formal dining room. There is even a spiral staircase.

We were able to forget that we were in China for about an hour or so tonight and afterward we were so full we needed to walk off the meal a bit before we decided to wander over to Da Fu Yuan to do some more Christmas shopping.
