After a late start we saw the Museum and Wild Goose Buddhist pagoda, and the Old Mosque. Then stayed in the Muslim area and shopped in the fun market stalls.

The pagoda lost its top two storeys in earthquakes. The first split the building in two. A few hundred years later a second quake healed the breach. (Or so we were told).

Exquisite art from the Tang Dynasty. Memory test... Qin was the first Emperor for about 20 years until his death in 210BC. His son ruled for only two years before being defeated by the Han Dynasty which lasted 400 years. The 300 year Tang Dynasty was from the mid 600's. The Ming Dynasty was for 300 years from the mid 1300's.
