Day 14 - Xi'An

Hi all, day 14 now and we're in Xi'an. We travelled by overnight train, arriving in some time after midday. We've had a chance for a quick shower, lunch and a walk around.

For those "Monkey Magic" fans there's SOME significance though i'm not entirely sure as I never watched it. Something to do with a temple or something hahaha sorry!

Tonight we're off to a dumpling 12 course banquet and a local performane. Should be good.

Tomorrow the teracotta warriors.

(Just as an aside, you'd all be so proud, almost half way throug the trip and we've barely bought anything. So far only a dorky plate with our photo on it outside the Jumbo restaurant in Hong Kong, a necklace in the jewellery factory in HK so you can excuse the fact that yesterday I couldnt help but by myself but buy a cute panda t-shirt and cuddle bear and then a silk brocade scarf - not bad for 14 days!!!!!!)
