We climbed the mountain!! We started out at 10pm and made it to the north peak at 1615m at about 1.30 in the morning. It was still really warm there and we wish we had stayed a bit longer! On the way up were steep rock stairs that you have to pull yourself up with a chain...To travel from the north to the east peak is up to 2100m. There is a 3 foot wide staircase with a 1000m drop each side. Going up in the dark was not too bad, coming down was a but scary!! Also to get onto the peak there is a vertical rock face you have to climb! We made it about 3.30am thinking that sunrise was at 4am. Actually it was at 530am, and by 5.15 we were freezing and climbed down a bit to finish watching. The photos dont really do it justice!!

I had to enjure my 30th today but as we were so tired from being up all last night i didnt even claim my free wine!!

Tomorrow we fly to Shanghai.....
