Financial SupermarketThey use the word "supermarket" a bit different than we do. Stop in to Jerry's Financial Supermarket, where you can get everything from mashed potatoes to sub-prime mortgages. It still makes me chuckle to see these signs;)
Edible?An obvious mis-translation. A daunting sign before entering a hot pot restaurant in Shanghai. It makes me think, "Please don't be edible, last month we had someone throw a hand and foot into their hot pot. Besides liability issues at hand, it gives our restaurant a bad reputation." I would guess they were trying to say, "Don't bring food into the restaurant."
Anyone know what field this is?It sounds like some sort of hybrid marketing center. Not going to find this word in Merriam Webster's
