Just walking around Nanjing - Day 3

Just had a rest day today from so much sightseeing. Jie's hometown is great and I'm just down the street from them in a hotel. I got to see around his house. It's very different from a western style home. They have two sun rooms with window over the roof so they get really warm. They use one of the sunrooms to dry clothes by hanging them. They also have a garden and grow peaches, grapes, cucumbers, and other vegetables and fruits. Tomorrow we're going to the Purple Mountain and seeing some things around there. It's a big mountain on the East side of Nanjing. We took a couple walks around the neighborhood which has a lake in the middle. And we took Dan Dan, Jie's dalmation for a walk too. Mostly just sat around today and rested. We did go out for lunch though and I had shark for the first time. Pretty tasty. We're also going to downtown Nanjing tomorrow so I'll have a lot to write about then. I think we're going to go see a movie too
