Just come back from a meal at Dong Yi Shun, a Muslim restaurant on Gaoyin Street. Having survived summer camp, we are now revelling in eating for pleasure rather than eating for fuel. It feels bloody good. Dong Yi Shun was such a good choice for a hangover dinner and the picture menu was amazing – there’s just so much to choose from. We ended up getting a huge plate of humus with Arabic bread, cucumber raita, shrimp spring rolls and spicy fried beef. I could have eaten the whole plate of spring rolls to myself, they were crispy perfection. Aaah I am still drooling at the thought!! We also got Longjing tea and our whole bill was 105 yuan / £10.
