Happy Thursday! I can't believe that tomorrow is my last day at work in HZ and then I am heading back to the States. The 2 weeks flew by. It has been such an amazing experience. The convenience store near work is my favorite place- we found red bull, interesting flavors of Lays potato chips such as cucumber, french chicken and meat lover sauce.... Cucumber and meat lover sauce are not bad... They have extra large snicker bars and the best oreo cookies- chocolate and peanut butter fillings - yum! Last night had a fun dinner with my Boston co- workers at my hotel, the Hyatt. We did the buffet which offers up traditional chinese dishes and then some delicious steaks, crab and pork chops on the grill- cooked to order- it was delicious! One of my co- workers decided to be very adventurous and tried the chicken feet- he is brave man.

Today the class surprised me and gave me such a beautiful thank you gift- it was so nice and amazing. I now have an original chinese treasure chest to store jewelery, perfume,etc. They had a pretty bracelet in the treasure chest. Then a beautiful home made embrodied pillow case - with all my favorite colors. The note / card they gave me was so touching. I can't wait to get home to show everyone. We then took the new hires out for a group dinner. Some of the pictures from tonight will be from this dinner. I have never seen so much food at one time, it was all delicious. I have to say the dumplings are my favorite- yum, yum, yum....

Tomorrow night is my big farewell night to HZ until I come back again... 😊

All I can say is if you have the opportunity to visit China- take it- it is a beautiful country with beautiful people who live in it. It has been a truly amazing experience.
