Today was quiet and much like yesterday. I guess I am getting into a rut. Went to work, stopped at the library to read on my way home. Ate dinner. Walked home. The only variation is sometimes I walk home, then eat dinner.

It rained very hard this morning. The temperature is very pleasant now. It has been cloudy all day. There is little humidity.

I stopped at the market on my way home. Not for any reason, I just like it. I usually just grab some street food for dinner, or go to my noodle shop. Here are some pics. I didn’t use the flash to be less intrusive, so some are a little dark.

There are several butcher shops. This one is indoors and is always a little dark. In the center of the second pic has a head of something with the eyeball still in it. It’s hard to see, but it’s there. It’s directly in front of the woman’s face. I don’t know what kind of head it is. It has been butchered to the point I can not recognize it.

I just got an email from Vivian. She said that since her family has taken English names it is only fair that I take a Chinese name. From now on I am Lao Cha. I am afraid to ask if it has a meaning.

There is a small park close by my home. There is a paved path around its circumference. I have found I can do 10 laps in an hour if I walk briskly. I am going to do that now.
