The old part--the other side of Chongqing

Since China had already started series of new policies 30 years ago our entire country changed so much and so fast. However the modern part they globally look all the same. Only the old remained shows tradition and the real life this is also universal. It is apparently a waste of time to travel through all those big cities for ppl who wonna learn modern side of China, but the old part is total different between different areas for our culture is a sort of mixture from different sources.

Door rings
Not really for knocking in (certainly functions that way too) but mostly a symbol of wealth.

A fortune teller's studio
They follow thoughts and opinions from an ancient book called
(周易) which is all about philosophy of nature to predict how does a ppl's fate will be doing. I tried to command that book but I guited soon. That's complicated the learning job almost killed me.

A pharmacy sells Chinese medicine
Those small lockers are all marked as mdicine's names and function. And the keeper usually won't ask their cutomers for prescription and just give'em what they order unless it's poison.

An open mart
Most time ppl would shopping in modern super market for nice service and even lower price. But some still prefer old style open mart for fresher Vegetables or meat, or just a sort of resistence against the modern world out there.

If I took a hair cut there I will look like a marine soldier.

Bamboo mats
In summer neighbours sleep outside for it's too hot, ppl just put those bamboo made mats on the ground families would stay together, but ladys won't mind a strainger male sleeping next to her.
