We had an early breakfast today as we had a plane to catch, so straight after breakfast, we got a taxi to Tiannamen Square, on Mondays, the Forbidden City is closed, but it was still very busy on the roads as it was peak hour traffic. We were dropped near the entrance of the Forbidden City and we were able to walk through to the middle and then around the park, back to Tiannamen Square. This are was amazing, with so much history, gave me goosebumps !
