The Ming Dinasty Tombs are situated 50 kilometer north of central Beijing. Here you can find the final resting place of 13 of the 16 Ming emperors.

Three tombs have been opened up to the public. I found Cháng Ling, burial place of the emperor Yongle, to be the most impressive.
