Today was the day to visit the Great Wall of China. We literally ran into a van transport to get us to the wall it takes an hour 20 mins from the city. Our group was now 9 in Beijing. Two Dalian friends met us in Beijing to vacation with us. Lisa was our guide and after getting our bags situated which now totaled 25 bags with carryons included we now looked like a travelling department store. We made it to a wonder of the world and saw why. How did people put together so many bricks one by one to create a massive wall that went for hundreds of miles along a mountian is beyond imagination. There was a trolley that took us up and a slide a few of us went down. We were all happy with the trip and it would not be like the Watson Clan to leave the wall without a little drama. Carolyn got in on a little of the yelling shop keeper action when a glass ball fell a chip a small corner. The team ran up as backup and held the screaming lady back. We then went to the Pearl Market and found more great deals. We stayed to closing and then headed to the airport for our flight back to Dalian
