Just a few more photos of Beijing, specifically of the "Bird's Nest," their Olympic stadium. I watched the construction of it as it's just north of the 4th ring road and I saw it every time we went by in a taxi on my way home last year, but now it's completed.

You still can't get close. And the weather SUCKED the day we went to see it, but D*** was only here for two days before heading back to Korea, so decided to go have a look.

The other photo is from my hostel window of the construction and the difference that can be made in two weeks' time.
