Czech Ambasy/Ceska ambasada
Here we come/ Nasli moji radcove nasli 1st NIGHT IN BEIJING
Some of us slept well some of us did not ( Group slept fine, although there is more of them to come to agreement, we ( Romi) did not manage to sleep much) The plan was to get up at 8 and go to the Czech Embassy , however some of us went to sleep at 6.30 am and woke up 9.30, after 9.5hours flight and 8 hours ahead feeling of cheapest hangover could not be avoided - for some of us.
CZECH EMBASSY
We have arrived at the Czech embassy at 12.30 after unintentional walk through Russian part of Beijing and almost getting electrocuted by hanging cable from a tree.
It come clear very quickly that visit like us the Czech embassy does not receive everyday. First question at the reception was if we got arrested, after we have have left I thing that Karel and Michal would rather if that would be the case.
They were extremely concern about us and us telling them we need to learn at least bit of Chinese like "we lost" and "can you help us" did not ease there mind. Karel kept saying : "I don't want
Swap /Vymena
I do you if you do me/ udelam ti kdyz ty mi udelas to hear that..." Anyway main reason why we went to see them was in hope we could get to Tibet, unfortunately we were advice it would be extremely hard as it is Chinese New Year , we have chosen the worst time to come to China, the best thing for us would be to get to the east of the country asap. We have rushed to the station with written scribble, we need to two tickets to east, got told tickets will be on sale from next day and no guarantee they will have some.
ANY ONE FOR CUP OF TEA?
As it was late and there was no point to go and see any sights, feeling hungry and like we have lost a day we went into a some kind of a restaurant, where we had our first Chinese meal (typical Chinese soup, steamed buns and hot soy milk- yam). With full tummies the life suddenly felt brighter and we went for wonder around Beijing.
Of course we knew where we were doing and it was no surprise to us when we found ourselves in front of Forbidden City. Here we took turns with a couple of guys
Tea house/ Cajovna
This is how you do it/ Tak se to dela in taking photos of each other and met Lee and Sheryl, two Chinese girl with whom we have ended up having the most expensive cup of tea ever. It was traditional tea house, a girl was showing us traditional way of making and drinking tea. It was really nice end to a disappointing day, when it come to paying we could not believe how much, however we have paid our half and the girls paid theirs. We have got a feeling have got done by very very good cone artists as they did really seem genuine, even when it come to paying the bill they seem as surprised as we were. But we come to conclusion it was worth it as we would never go in this type of a house for some reason - getting conned.
Got back to hostel and fell exhausted into a bed and slept until had to get up to go the China Wall.....
1. NOC V PEKINGU
CESKA AMBASADA -to tady jeste nebylo
Kaja rikal celou dobu: "Ja to nechci slyset, to mi ani nerikejte..."
Point of reference / Orientacni bod
where do we go from here ah we know now where we are/ od kud ted aha uz vime kde jsme rychle snazily dostat na nadrazi, kde jsme se snazily koupit listek.
V zivote by jsme do takove cajovny nesly a
proto moc nelitujem, byl to uzasny zazitek. Ale od ted si uz davame bacha.
Zpet do hotelu a unavou jsme padly za vlast...... a spaly az do rana, kdy nas cekaka Cinska Zed.........
