Day 2: Tiananmen Sq and Forbidden CIty

Today, we got to get up a little later at 8 AM for another day of sights in Beijing before heading to Xi'an.

First we head to Tian An Men Square, where the crowd was lighter than I expected. It looked like there were more venders than tourists in the square.

The square was roped off and we had to go through x-ray check of our bags to enter the square.
