Ulaan Ude to Beijing - Trans Siberian Part 2

There was supposed to be a part 2 and part 3 to my Trans Siberian trip, but although everone appears to be online in Asia, it is apparently not the case in China, and it has been difficult to find internet cafes where this site actually works- so this is written from Beijing (not the great wall)

Firstly - my one and only photo on this blog so far. Me and the sumo wrestling champion of the world. He happens to be Mongolian and was at the bar that we ended up at. It was all going well, he was feeding us Moet and vodka shots - until his minder leaned over and asked me whether I'd like to be his girlfriend for the night. Hmmm....I politely declined, so he asked the other girl I was with. She declined too...so he asked us if we'd both like to come. In true class and style, we finished his Moet and he went home alone.
I'll never be a true groupie.

But I'm getting ahead of myself。。。
