Day 19 - Siem Reap

After last night we didn't wake up until 2pm! So the plans of hiring bikes to see Siem Reap were out of the window! Instead we went for a late lunch, followed by ice cream.

In the evening we got a tuk tuk to Acodo Orphanage. Here we found out about the work they were doing (taking in street children and children whose families were too big or poor to take care of them) & met the children who were extremely happy and friendly. We then watched the children perform traditional khmer dances, which they do every night to raise money. After this we had a further chance to talk with the children, it was amazing to learn about them. They were adorable and loving, as I left one little girl wanted a kiss!

We got a tuk tuk back, had dinner at a stall and then wandered around the night market.
