Floating Village Floating Village Floating Village

The locals content with their lives, just along as they can receive a television signal
The country of Cambodia has had to overcome a tragic past to become the country it is today. Over 30 years ago hundreds of thousands of people were killed under the Khmer Rouge regime; to this day the Khmer people are skill rebuilding their lives after the heartache caused by Khmer Rouge. What I admire about the people of Cambodia is how happy they seem, after everything that they have been through. For example going out on to Tonle Sap Lake and seeing the people that inhabit the floating village going past them, they were smiling and waving and seemed so content with how they lived their lives. It’s amazing how they can live theirs without items that we would take for granted like mobile phones, the internet and game consoles. My Cambodian Experience how lucky and fornuate i am to have life that i do.
