Summary of Cambodia
We originally planned to spend just 2 weeks in Cambodia but almost as soon as we arrived we had extended this to 3. We found Cambodia to be a beautiful country full of beautiful people. We were welcomed everywhere we went especially by the children who would shout and wave at us until they got a response.
What we liked
The people - so friendly, the biggest smiles!
Fresh fruit shakes
How easy it was to get about
Cambodian curry and lok lak
What we disliked
Getting stuck in Kratie for three days waiting for our visas (our own fault but...!)
Mosquitoes - for some reason the bites seemed to itch more in Cambodia!
Getting used to working in 2 currencies at the same time, dollars and riel
Highlights
Visiting Angkor Wat and the other temples at Siem Reap
Our spa afternoon with Kate and Danny
Riding the bamboo train in Battambang
Making a horror movie at Bokor Hill Station
Seeing the dolphins in Kratie
We'll also never forget our visit to the S21 prison and the killing fields outside Phnom Penh
We would still like to visit...
Northeast region of Cambodia - Mondulkiri etc.

Cycling to Chester
Tis Tuesday - which means it is only 3 days to the bank holiday weekend. As usual we have a trip planned - this time cycling from Chester to Buxton. A bit of style included as it is my birthday - staying at top notch hotels ome the way (not sure what they will make of us turning up on bikes!). You are looking good. Nice that we can see you again.
