We've spent the American and Canadian national days wandering through the morass of temples at Angkor and the streets of Phnom Phen. On this tree the Khmer Rouge hung a loudspeaker to play loud music to cover the noise of executions. Beside the tree is one of many mass graves. While many have been excavated, many more are still filled with corpses.
