The beach
it's really busy during Tet Well Hi from the beach at Sihanoukville! It has been the New year holiday so we found a great place to chill while the crowds are out on holiday! The beach is nice but very busy so we have lounged by the pool, reading books and playing on the computer (skyping our kids and bothering them like we were still at home hehehhee) through the holiday period! The place we are at is really nice that we have been extending our stay so that means we have joined the travellers (no one plans ahead they just go as they please) in changing rooms quite often it is really quite fun and good thing we dont have to much really to carry! I found this definition and it's perfect!!
OMG: I’M NOW A FLASHPACKER
What I didn’t know until recently is that I’ve grown up from a backpacker to a flashpacker.

Heck, this word is even defined in Wikipedia:

A flashpacker shares some of the characteristics of a backpacker: a sense of independence, no fixed itinerary and relatively long periods of travel to more exotic and far-flung destinations. Whereas backpacking is traditionally associated with budget travel and destinations that are
Monks every morning collecting alms and blessing each establishment
relatively cheap, flashpacking has an association of more disposable income while traveling and has been defined simply as backpacking with a bigger budget.

We have had some fun experiences like getting nails done for $4 with flowers on the fingers and palm trees on the toes!! We went to find a good french bakery ( oh ya gooood) and got a $1 haircut which was such an experience that I tipped him another $1. (Harant my hair will grow!!!! Hehehhehe)
The place we are staying has this huge bird house which plays recordings of birds chirping allllll day to attract birds to nest and the story is they collect the nests for the saliva for soup!! but its not on our menu. The restraunt is a great place and cheap the most for a meal is $5 ( Baraccuda) and the chef is french! Sooo..... awesome!
Our visa for Myanmar is ready but we decided to stay a few more days and 2 more room changes (It will be 6 in total but worth it) We dont spread out and loose anything and it's good practice! Talk soon and BYFN Terry and Bill
