Whoooooooooooohhhhhhh like motor bikes much?!!!!!!!!!! absolutely CRAZY city!!!! we walked around town.. oooh yes we did.. no pavements - as obviously they are for cars and bikes... hundreds of bikes everywhere, dont even ask us how we crossing the roads... hahaha we attempted to find food but mere impossible if you didnt want to eat something random from someone on the street.
Next day- we went to the S21 museum- former school, turned into a prison by the Khmer Rough for people who opposed their regime.. appalling, its weird but you can sense what has happened there, the site has a horrible feeling. We saw the rooms which were set up for torture, then the bottom floors which held the prisoners in tiny cells. out of 20,000 prisoners, 7 survived. they had a detailed museum section showing all the faces of the captives, there were hundreds of children under 10.. so so sad. We spend around 4 hours there taking it all in- 4 buildings. WE then headed out of town on a tuk tuk to the killing fields- where majority of the prisoners went to dig their own graves.. their were sights that were filled with up to 400

S21 Museum people. one hole had held women and children found naked and another where the people had no heads.. needless to say it was a depressing day- but one you have to do.
