Well what can i say about Phnom Phen-its Fantastic!!!! I want to stay forever lol! We arrived in Phnom Phen by bus (7 hours-via 2 squatting loos and food consisting of cockroches, bug and god knows what else-god help me! but its ok i never ate them lol) and headed straight to our hostel by tuk tuk (a cart pulled by motorbike), the hostel was called 'The Floating Island' which we stayed at for 2 nights then had to move as it smelled, was insect infested, and was just generally minging-although to be fair it has a very nice social area, big comfy couches and is right on the lake which is amazing! We moved to a hostel called 'No Problem' which was nice but one night when out we promised a guy we would go stay at his so we stayed at No Problem for another 2 nights and then moved to 'New Lodge' which we are currently staying in and is very nice although the loo doesnt flush haha!!! Nways our stay here has consisted of meeting loads of backpackers and travellers, meeting the locals drinking in the best pub here called 'The Drunken Frog' which we have

been in every night because it is just so amazing, and only twice we have left the street cause its just so brilliant!!!!! Oh it also constisted of Laura getting extremely drunk on the first night which was hilarious as we had to take her home, i looked after her though with a sick bucket and water and all was fine lol! She however did not feel fine the next day-hilarious! We have met 2 brilliant locals called Bry and Paul, they are 19 and 21 and are so sweet! We met them in The Drunken Frog and had a great night with them, laughing and playing connect 4 which i became the Champion of Champions of that night! We were telling them how me and Laura wanted to go on a moto (motorbike) but i was really scared so they said they would take us as that is what they do for a living so the next day we headed off, i was with Paul and it was fantastic, i rode side saddle too as thats they way the ladies do it here-its was so much fun but also scary as hell!!! He almost chopped my leg off about

20 times cause they drive like nutases here but it was great! After taking us around they took us to a field so we could have a shot driving the-it was hilarious, i drove mines right in to a mud ditch and got stuck-hilarious!!! They of course were doubled over laughing at me screaming and didnt come to my rescue so i got myself out and got off the bloody thing, brilliant!! I so want another shot though haha! We have also met loads of great travellers who we are going to meet up with later as some are doing similar routes to us which is great as they are all brilliant people! We went out for one of their birthdays last nite-Andy-it was brilliant, we went to dinner then back to pub and had a awesome night! The staff at the pub are awsome too, so friendly, the barmans-Coy, Marty, Superiour and Alec are brilliant and get everyone talking and playing connect 4 and drinking games!
