Motorbikes are by far the most common means of transportation in Cambodia. It is not uncommon to see a whole family on a motorbike: mom, dad, and a kid or two. The colorful tent in the background is where the wedding is held and the tent in the foreground is used for food preparations. Weddings normally last for 3 days.

Durian fruit are considered a delicacy in Southeast Asia. To westerners, they smell horrible, like something rotten. Many hotels, airlines, buses, etc. forbid people from eating durians because they are so pungent that they stink up the whole establishment.

I'm not sure if I can go there. That might be too dark of a path to go down. Incidentally, I've almost gotten the "beer with a priest" challenge down. I had coffee this morning with a Canadian Anglican priest at our guesthouse, so if he's around this evening, I might be able to achive this challenge. Too bad I couldn't get the chain-smoking monk we saw the other day to drink a beer with me.
