Now this was what we'd been waiting for! Angkor was one place that was high on our list of places to see in asia, and it was worth the wait.

Loads of temples, everywhere. More than you could count. We spent 3 days cycling around the various sites. The pictures hardly do it justice as some of the complexs were just plain huge.

The temples are in various conditions. Some had been restored, others being restored and some just left to the jungle. Angkor Wat is the most famous temple in the area, however its been looted so much in the last few years that its lost a bit of its charm. We found the ones in the jungle by far our favorite.

Proper Indiana Jones style!
