Mandalay to Bagan

Today is January 15th and the day John heads back to Thailand for a well-deserved rest and to do some diving on Kohlanta.

I continue on my tour of Burma and take a boat down the Ayeyarwady River from Mandalay to Bagan. This is a day trip with unspectacular scenery but a very pleasant and relaxing day of traveling.

The Indochina Experience

2 months of travelling across South-East Asia.... Here a short overview (subject to change): After landing in Bangkok, we will be heading to Cambodia by train and spending a few days at Angkor near Siem Reap. We then head to Phnom Penh from where we organise our visa for Vietnam. The next bus trip takes us to Ho Chi Minh City where we will catch a train that will follow the Vietnamese coast and takes us all the way to Hanoi.
