I was rereading the blog last night to remind myself about what stood out at the time that I was writing .The hotel , the fishermen and their families ,the meals , and the beach itself were truly memorable . I didn't count the number of men on the boats but I think it would be @15 .They would travel with 2 smaller boats for the catch ..I think !

Walking in the village we saw these men loading up with sacks that were in a warehouse/barn of sorts.

Our most expensive meal in Myanmar . Grilled lobster that melted in my mouth . $20 for a very filling meal .

I don't think they catch these often as it was the center of attention for many . It took 2 men to carve it up using a BIG knife and a club to pound through thickparts and/or gristle/bone
