We would have loved to do the hot air balloon rides but at US$250 they were the same cost as our entire budget for 2 weeks in Burma!

Most toursits went around in these horse carts but we hired bikes and used them the whole time we were there. They allowed you to go wherever you wanted whenever you wanted!

Tried this a few times while I was in Burma but the first time was by far the most memorable. I was riding a bicycle around Bagan and after chewing for a few mintues I got really dizzy and had to stop and wait for a bit. Didn't realise that it gave you such a spin!

Thanks for the beautiful photos and your reflections on Burma. I especially loved the photo of Fishing on Inle Lake. It was a special privilege to meet such lovely people in Myanmar!
