Waking up to yet another sunny day in the Punak Chhu valley. After a light breakfast I sneak outside for some quick morning views before departing for Wangdi. Chendebji tourist buffet with the usual suspects, red rice, vegetables, a mild chili n' cheese mix, some momo dumplings and chapati bread.

Before entering the dzong the gho is completed with this customary scarf (I forget the name) which has to be worn in a particular manner to properly indicate your rank. Dorji still hasn't been to enough dzongs to make it a conditioned reflex...

Room breakdown: Electricity: Frequent outages. European style two pin plug available but to what use? Toilet: Leaking plumbing, and you never knew if it was going to work or not. Hot water supply: We had hot water for an hour or so. Heating: None available. Food: Good hot food, didn't try the breakfast. Spoils: Maybe that psychedelic carpet. Pets: Some moths.
