Easter is one of the most famous and beloved spiritual holiday in for the Armenians. As we know each year it is celebrated on a different day. This year, 2020, it is to be celebrated on the 12th of April. Last Sunday, on the 6th of April people were celebrating the Palm Sunday.
It is accepted to serve dyed eggs (the symbol of life), red wine (the blood of Christ), pilaf of rice with raisins and other dried fruits, and fish. The beloved part of the holiday for children is the ‘’egg fighting’’. In all the churches and acting monasteries one can visit the Easter Mass on the day of the holiday and one day before, in the evening.
