In Afghanistan, the US has many enemies that are a threat to our security and nation. We have received threats from terrorists in the area. United States has become a victim of terrorists acts from 9/11 to the Boston Marathon. As always, we are not the only ones who are impacted by terrorists. People in their country also suffer from them especially woman. Woman education in Afghanistan is hard. Razia Jan a woman who was announced as one of CNN heros. She created a school outside of Kabul. When it opened, terrorists went by threw hand grenades inside the school and 100 woman died inside. There were 185 documented cases of girls being killed, poisoned, or acid thrown at them for being educated or going to be educated. She created a school in Deh' Subz not controlled by the Taliban. There is no fee for her school its all free education. She says that the only reason for the men to not want a woman to have education is because they are afraid that they will find their rights as a woman and become smarter. For precaution from threats she has guards that would taste food, water, and anything edible to protect the woman. She built a stone wall around the perimeter of the school keeping them safe from any harm. Razia Jan was shocked by the event on 9/11. She raised money in her non profit Razia's Ray of Hope; she got enough money to go back to Afghanistan and build her school.
