Wedell SealA Wedell Seal wandered into town a couple weeks ago, spent a week with us and then wadddle away.
A good nightThe seal spent a day or so leaned up against a stop sign in town during a storm. After the storm ended he left town and was subsequently spotted at Scott Base.
AuroraA recent aurora over the McMurdo Ice Shelf. The red colors are too faint to be seen with the naked eye. The auroras appear pale green. Some people say auroras make noises that are audible on still nights. I have not heard them.
