In the distance you can see the all-green New Zealand base which is way more neat and clean than lovely McMurdo (aka McMudhole) but a lot less populated

We "recreated" by walking along the flag lines to check out the Ice Falls on the side of the glacier. Incredible.

Aka a Flag Line. They are spaced about 25 ft and often when bad storms roll in you can barely see the next flag ahead of you!

The view out the window of the Carp Shop's break room. There's lots of cargo storage and utilities up near our shop but you can see the seasonal Sea Ice Runway (closing for the season due to warming temperatures next week) in the distance with the incredible 60-mile-away mountain range further beyond.
