Galapagos Crew
Jeanine & I with Peirce & Kitty (aka Ron & Bernice) There was a group of us that went on an African Flying Safari (no guns) to see all of the wonderful animals in the parks. Jeanine & I went with people that we met in the Galapagos and one of the members of our party, Scott, was excited to fly us around!
Sept 16 - Scott arrived in Johannesburg and transferred to n’Gomo Safari Lodge.(www.ngomolodge.co.za).
Sept 18 - Today the tour flew to Ngala, situated in the Kruger national Park. www.ccafrica.com click on Ngala.
Sept 21 - This morning, after game drive and breakfast, the tour flew to Madikwe Safari Lodge situated at the border of South Africa and Botswana . Madikwe has been described as something right out of architectural Digest. It is a magnificent lodge and good animal viewing. (www.ccafrica.com click on Madikwe)
Sept 24 - fly to Kasane Airport in Northeast Botswana . After Customs, we were transferred to Matetsi Water Lodge by ground. We had to “exit” Botswana customs, drive 30 seconds across the border and enter Zimbabwe customs. After that there is about a 30 minute road trip and another transfer to a safari vehicle to take you to the Lodge. It

Having fun was all rather adventurous. There were “elephant crossing” road signs on the road headed to Matetsi! We went to Victoria Falls and went shopping at a market. (www.ccafrica.com click on Matetsi in Zimbabwe )
Sept 27 - We had a scenic flight from Kasane to Stanley ’s Camp in the Okavango Delta, Botswana . (www.sanctuarylodges.com/botswana.htm click on Stanley ’s) While there, we spent one morning with 3 semi-habituated elephants, handled by Doug Groves (www.livingwithelephants.org) and were up close and personal with the ellies.
