01 Raid
The troop of monkeys about to try to raid our camp site. Geo: -15.9455, 29.3115
This morning at 7am John and I went for a game drive while Paul and Francois went fishing at Mana Mouth. As we all prepared to leave the camp site we were visited by the monkeys who were looking for food, but didn't find anything.
Today was going to be a beautiful sunny day. John and I began our game drive by checking to see if Paul and Francois had caught anything. Our timing was perfect- Paul had just caught a decently sized Tiger Fish, he was very happy with his catch.
Our game drive was very quiet, we didn't see anything too exciting, just a few elephants, zebra, warthogs, kudu, impalas and a crocodile which posed for us with its mouth open wide.
We got back to the camp site at about 10. Paul and Francois arrived back soon after. I spent the next few hours relaxing, eating, showering, reading and napping.
At 2pm this afternoon we all went for a game drive. We stopped to watch a few baboons pulling out plants to eat their roots - it was an interesting sight. Apart from the baboons, the drive was pretty quiet, but we did travel on some
02 Trouble
One of the trouble makers - a cheeky Vervet Monkey. new roads. We saw impalas, kudu, a hippo covered in weeds and elephants.
Tonight was our last night at this camp site and we were looking forward to moving to a new location in the national park.
