Dakotah and I were so looking forward to the party that the day seemed to go super slow. We got balloons hung and had the glasses and cups all ready, birthday card made and present wrapped. Then we waited until three o’clock. The first to arrive were Julie and her two sons. Then came Dorothy, her girls and Pastor Bonnani’s sons. Pastor Bonnani and his wife, Perseverance came a little bit later. There was a present exchange and chocolate cake eating and singing Happy birthday. Noma would have liked to be here but she has been at her Aunt’s house for the past week and a bit. She is having fun there with the bunch of kids who are staying there for the school holiday. I thought about inviting some of the guys from Masiye Camp but it was too late. We had a good time of tea and conversation and Dorothy’s girls were so excited to take home the balloons.
We had Dakotah’s favorite foods for dinner -Chicken and Mashed Potatoes.

Happy Birthday Kotah.What a super special birthday to have. Thank you for sending me your updates. i have had a great time reading about all the wonderful and caring people you have met and all the places you have been able to visit and assist! Kotah it is wonderful that at 13 you have the compassion for other people but then again you have had that spark for as long as i have known you.
