Hello All!

A quick update! (As per usual)!

We have been relaxing and exploring the jewel in the crown of East Africa the past week... Spice Island, Zanzibar! This place is absolutely divine - think: Lisbon meets Venice meets Morrocco meets Grenada (the beaches).

We have a few more days left in Tanzania... these will include a hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti & a 3 day adventure in Serengeti National Park. After that it is off to Nairobi, Kenya and then homeward bound! (Almost)!

One of our first nights here we sat in the bar-hut of our campsite... Klay bought a local gentleman a package of cigarettes following which he bestowed upon him not one of his 50 (yes I wrote fifty) daughters but two! hahaha Klay then proceeded to auction me off for 40 cows. (A Mzungu (white person) goes for 40 cows whereas anyone else goes for 4)! I was betrothed to a Maasai Mari Warrior. I've got pictures to bring home... don't worry. We all chatted and had a good laugh through our interpreter, the bartender, and my warrior guarded us with his spear and beating stick while we bought him a Coke.

Ok, that's all for now!
Signed,
"Rasta Woman"
