Breakfast Breakfast Breakfast

Alone in Serengeti with a million onlookers!!
Having just got back from Tanzania and still reeling from its amazing mix of natural 'as-it-should-be' beauty and warm, calm people, I have started this blog to share some of the lessons learnt and some of the key things we all need to do (as well as a few photos). So, last Thursday, we were driving through Serengeti viewing millions of wildebeest and zebras in what looked like Southern Kent in UK (so green and full of trees at this time of year) when our driver said it was time to stop for breakfast. My family, me wife and two kids, jumped out the land cruiser and tucked in to egg and bacon sandwiches, when Amy (my 12 year old daughter) said - "Hey, we are in Serengetti having breakfast alone, with a million wildebeest and about as many zebras!" For a European, being anywhere where you can't see any sign of human effect on the landscape for 360ยบ all around you is wild, but seeing it with a million wild animals is beyond any other experience - do it, take your kids, show them how the world was and should be again! -- more to follow---

How nice!
What a great experience. I really feel like going there with my kids too. Tell us more, please! By the way, I miss Tiggy in the picture... I guess she was taking it, wasn't she? Cheers!
