When you are in Africa on safari, you learn that wildlife has three forms to protect itself from being hunted by predators:- camouflage, being at a safe distance beyond predators' ability to catch them or counterattack. But what they don't tell you is just how Africa grabs hold of you, reminds you of what matters in life and inspires you to do something. Not just a something like a charity event or form a group of solidarity (both of which we are planning to do). To do something for you. Something that means getting back in touch with those basic needs, that simplicity that we have lost in Europe. To remind yourself why as someone told me "we have the watches, but they have the time"!
I hope this last batch of photos inspire you to take that trip to Africa or at least to read about it and then let in that magic to your lives. So no need to go on hiding, keeping a safe distance away or fight against it. Let yourself be hunted. Fall prey to Africa.
