This morning we woke up early to go for a morning game drive. Before we left for the drive, we went to the other side of the campground to go and see the cabins. Tomorrow morning we were moving into a cabin for the rest of our stay here, which will great considering all the rain that we have had.

While seeing the cabin area we stopped to photograph some Samango Monkeys. These monkeys are larger than the Vervet Monkeys and are light brown and white in colour. Their population number is also considered to be endangered.

On our morning game drive we saw a white rhino walking along a hill. We stopped at Catalina Dam, here we saw a couple of hippos floating in the dam. We also saw a herd of female kudu, buffalo, zebra, vervet monkeys, red duiker and bushbuck.

At another pan there were more pods of hippos. On Vlei Road we saw another pod of hippos and two adult white rhinos that were running down the road away from us once they noticed us.

We turned off the main road to go to Mission Rocks. Here we saw another white rhino. This one was missing

its shorter horn. There was also a red duiker. We went for a little walk along the rocky beach. It such a pity that the weather is so crap - cloudy and cool. From the nearby lookout point we could see kudus and zebras.

We arrived back at camp at 10am. It was rest time for us. We read and had a sleep. In the early afternoon we had lunch and just in time too, as it started to rain at 1:30pm. We were now stuck in the tent for the next few hours. To entertain ourselves we sprayed monkeys with our water gun. Unfortunately this does not keep them away for very long.

When the rain stopped we went for a long walk along the sand dunes. Later that night after dinner, at 9:30, it started to rain again!
